Newsy Notes

We just stopped by to check on Churchill and found good news. He had his surgery and is recuperating. It will be a long recovery, but how wonderful to have so many bloggers caring and those who could contributing. You can read the good news here.

Missy Blue Eyes is recovering from her eye injury. We were glad to learn that too.

We were saddened to read on Maya & Kena's blog that the large tumor recently removed from Bruno's leg was cancerous and will likely return. But how wonderful that some contributed to the cost of his operation and a kind vet agreed to operate before the full amount was raised. There is so much abuse in the world, so it's nice to know there is much kindness too.

Baby has been missing for several days now. Evidently she got out into the hall and just disappeared. Most likely someone in the building is hiding/keeping her and her owners are frantic. We hope she is found soon.

PS. We're glad you could finally leave a comment. And yes, something's going on with Blogger these days, because before when we used to type in the titles to our posts, it would translate them from English to another language automatically, so we had to type them on the actual post in CAPS and copy and paste it onto the title... it was pretty weird..

  6. Hi Jan
Re your comment about Baby, mum had a similar experience with the Police but she saw a solicitor straight away. Went back to the Police Station and they changed their tune. It is very important that Mas goes back to the Police Station and demands that they write out a police crime report to state that Baby has been stolen and issue her with a police crime report number. Mum is hoping she will do this.
The Police cannot intervene though unless you can provide them with proof that you know where Baby is. Until Mas actually sees Baby and knows for certain where she is, they cannot act.
Mum is hoping these people are not playing games and making all of this up, but she doesn't think so.
People everywhere think they can keep a lost dog they find. This is stealing. Mum gets very furious about all of this. Animal rescue people and vet nurses in Australia don't even know the basic laws. It is very wrong.
    Love from Hammmer
